About us:

Digitron Engineering Services GmbH is a privately held independent provider of personnel for the maintenance and service of high-tech manufacturing and production systems in the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries. We loan, lease or rent technical service and support specialists to equipment and tool manufacturers to supplement their field service department. The company, founded in 1985 by Evi and Bernd Knobloch, has geared its unique outsourcing offering solely to manufacturers, suppliers and OEM partners, with the aim of taking pressure off the latter’s own service personnel.

The company, with HQ situated near the Munich airport, is specialized in the maintenance, installation and repair of semiconductor and photovoltaic process and manufacturing equipment. Digitron specialists are deployed in almost all relevant manufacturing facilities throughout the world. All Digitron employees either have long-term employment contracts or are exclusively committed to the company. The qualifications of these high-profile experts, all of whom speak English, some also Russian and French, range from technicians and masters of their trade to electricians and mechanical engineers with clean room experience.

Regularly scheduled internal training sessions maintain and increase the knowledge and qualifications needed to meet and exceed our customers’ requirements and expectations. This includes hardware and software training, customer relationship training and regularly safety training in electrical, chemical and gaseous hazards.

Digitron’s management team has extensive experience in building world-class customer support operations. Our team is intimately aware of the challenges and goals customers face to run profitable service businesses in a highly cyclical environment. Our team has already established a global support infrastructure with our clients' operational and financial requirements in mind.
